How to Care for Teak?

🔹 1. Teak Cleaning (Removal of Graying and Dirt)

Special teak cleaner or mild soapy water is used to remove dirt, salt and gray layer on the teak surface.

In order not to damage the wood, cleaning is done with a medium soft brush or sponge instead of a hard brush.

🔹 2. Surface Drying and Preparation

After cleaning, wait 24 hours for the teak surface to dry completely.

🔹 3. Applying Teak Oil or Teak Protective Products

The durability of the surface is increased by applying natural teak oil that nourishes and protects the wood.

It is applied to the wood with a brush or cloth and the excess oil is wiped off to provide a natural look.

Optionally, water-based protective teak polishes can be applied.

🔹 4. Final Control and Drying Process

After the oil or wax has been completely absorbed, make sure that the surface is completely dry.
